With a single valid jump of 4,50 meters, Cuban Yarisley Silva, won the third position at the sports event held in Rabat, Morocco.In spite of being 10 centimeters under the record with which she debuted internationally and was second in Ostrava, the Cuban athlete added 4 points to the ranking.Yarisley, silver medal in London 2012, failed after trying three times to reach 4,70 meters, a height she has easily achieved and should do in the upcoming attempts.
Greek Ekaterini Stefanidi was the winner with 4,75 and heads the ranking with 14 units, after having reached the third position in Doha.The second place was for Swiss Nicole Büchler when surpassing 4,70 meters, having obtained 12 units.
They were six in total, except US Sandi Morris, whose 4,83 made her win the gold medal, having gotten the maximum of the campaign since Doha.The next competition will be on May 28 in Eugene, US, without the presence of the Cuban, who will participate on June 2nd at the Olympic Stadium of Rome.
Yarisley will be there along with triple jump specialist Liadagmis Povea, short hurdler o Yordan O´Farrill and the sprinter Roberto Skyers.
