Excellencies magazine number 150 was presented here at the City Conservative Office (OCC), in the 20 years of this institution and its first number, in a Fire Festival.

The president of the Excellencies group, José Carlos de Santiago, recalled the publication's appearance during the International Festival of the Caribbean in 1997 and thanked the cooperation of Cuban authorities, artists, journalists, historians and other intellectuals of the city.

In the editorial that opens the magazine, De Santiago's words recall the first 'discoveries' in 1983 of these American and Caribbean lands, as well as the initial contact with Cuba in 1992, from which was born the inspiration and the will to count those wonders found in his path.

It specifies that Excellencias Turísticas del Caribe y Las Américas has 35 digital and printed publications in a range that reflects the wealth and natural, cultural diversity and heritage of its peoples.

Che Guevara, a revolutionary legend, is one of the historical texts included, along with Ernest Hemingway, a novel life, an interview with Orlando Vergés, director of the House of the Caribbean, and a special proposal about this city as cultural capital of the region.
