With the recent arrival of the inaugural flight of the French airline Corsair, Cuban tourism emphasizes today a commitment to the travel industry with a strong eye towards Europe.

There are already many interests of recreational firms interested in investing in the island, when in addition to this French opening flight, recently the Hotel Manzana under the administrative supervision of Kempinski, a German luxury company, opened its doors.

Now, this new arrival also corresponds with other elements, such as the announcement today of the presentation of a direct flight from Haiti, which shows a very varied landscape in terms of regions and approaches.

The French airline Corsair inaugurated its flights to Cuba on Thursday as part of the increase in tourism and relations between these two countries.

During the opening trip, the airline's CEO, Pascal de Izaguirre, was pleased with the new route and expressed his pleasure at being on the island.

This arrival took place at José Martí International Airport, where the manager spoke to the press, after the ceremony of the cut of the inaugural tape in which he participated along with the communication director of the Ministry of Tourism, Janet Ayala, and the director of the terminal, Juan Carlos Quintana.

The president of the group, the tour operator TUI France, said that they seek to allow their customers the possibility of discovering this destination that he described as extraordinary, now through two weekly frequencies but with prospects of increases.
