Cuba’s First Deputy Tourism Minister Alexis Trujillo Morejon highlighted on Friday in Ciego de Avila the optimum conditions of the Jardines del Rey complex for the start of the high season.
He said that of the 16 existing hotels in the keys, there are still six left to be completely recovered and authorities are ironing out last minute details to get the remaining installations ready for the upcoming season.
It has been possible thanks to the immediate mobilization of support forces from other provinces in addition to the people in the territory after Hurricane Irma, said the tourism official.
The success of the quick recovery lies in the unity of human resources and materials for the installation to begin its operations and welcome the first visitors of the current season, he said.
Trujillo added that you can perceive the execution of the investment plan in the hotel and extra hotel installations for this year and short term with the objective of having the required comfort for its clients.
He commented that they are taking advantage of the process to improve the installations, which will allow a better quality product with a positive outcome from the commercial point of view and promotion of the destination.
Jardines del Rey began its international commercialization in November of 1993 and since then to date over three million vacationers from different parts of the world have enjoyed its installations and excellent natural conditions.
