The Third Japanese Culture Celebration in Sancti Spiritus calls participants interested in learning that Asian nation's traditions promoted in this Cuban city, located 360 kilometers west of Havana.
The event, running from May 25th to 28th, offers lectures, talks, Japanese language classes, exhibitions of origami figures and Japanese architectures, martial arts performances and other activities.
This unique event of its kind in the Caribbean nation has been growing stronger since 2015 and proves the rapprochement between both nations, despite the distance between them.
We have sufficiently developed our rooted friendly relations with reciprocal visits.
In 2016, First Cuban Vice-President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, visited Japan, and a Japanese prime minister made his first visit Cuba, the diplomat said.
