The Cuban Exporting and Commercializing Company of Agriculture (Catec) has among its premises propitiate the exchange between foreign vacationers and tobacco producers as well as the visits to the farms of agrarian interest in the Pinar del Río territory.

There are many visitors interested in knowing details of the production process of the solanaceous from the fields to the factories, the last link that conceives the famous cigars of exquisite quality and high demand in the international market, as well as other agroecological and fruit crops, in particular , those exotic or autochthonous.

Leidy Yanet León, director of the UEB Western Division Catec-Labiofam, reported that annually they receive around 11,000 tourists from the United States, France, Spain and Ukraine, to name a few examples, for whom various options are conceived for a stay Pleasant and able to meet expectations in a healthy and safe enjoyment.
