President Miguel Díaz-Canel highlighted here the work of a group of students from the Faculty of Electric Engineering and Telecommunications of the Central University Marta Abreu of Las Villas in the supervision of electric power in the state and residential sector.
The purpose of this group of 250 youths, together with the National Office for the Control and Rational Use of Energy (Onure), is to sensitize managers of productive entities or services, to extend their peak hours to periods of lower power consumption.

The president, on the eve of the visit to the province of Villa Clara, to evaluate the strategies applied for saving electricity, positively assessed how these young people heeded the call made by the Government.
