The meetings, which will spread until next Wednesday, include the signature of a memorandum of understanding.

According to the Mexican ambassador in Cuba, Enrique Martínez, the commercial relations between both countries are on the increase, as the relative ones to the investigation and the progress in the health.

For his part, Eduardo Martínez, the first vice-president of the Group of the Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Industries (BioCubaFarma), pointed out that there is evaluated a series of products and technology of high scale which introduction could be of interest.

In this sense, inside the commercial relations the pharmaceutical industry is an important prop for the development of the systems of health of two countries, added the director of the Center for the State Control of the Quality of the Medicines, Rafael Pérez.

During the meetings the Cuban and Mexican authorities agreed the creation of a technical group to programme the following steps facing the finished recognition of the certificates and practices of manufacture, as well as of the clinical protocols and sanitary records.

As part of its agenda in Cuba, the Mexican visitors will cover tomorrow companies of BioCubaFarma to evaluate the best opportunities in inputs, services and knowledge.
