Cuba dominated the women''s team competition for judo corresponding to the Central American and Caribbean Games of Barranquilla-2018.

In the finals, the Cubans won in the first three matches against the Venezuelan fighters, and it was not necessary to celebrate the other two matches.

Bronze medals in this contest went for the teams of Mexico and Puerto Rico, that defeated the Dominican Republic and Colombia for 3-0 and 3-2, respectively.
