Iberia Spanish airline will offer, from upcoming June 2, Madrid-Havana daily flights, a year after both cities re-started operations with five weekly flight frequencies, in June 2015.

In just one year, the Spanish airline company has increased its offer with Cuba in nearly 30 %, going from five weekly frequencies to six in last December, and now to the daily flight.

The IAG airline company, on its flights to Havana with the Airbus A330/200, uses more modern airplanes, which have joined its fleet in the last six months, with capacity for up to 288 people.

The Madrid-Havana flight schedules permit to connect from other destinations in Spain, such as Barcelona, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Bilbao, Mallorca, Vigo, A Coruña or Asturias, and others like London, Paris, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, Francfort, Munich or Zurich in the rest of Europe.

In fact, the Iberia flights to Havana allow to connect through Terminal T4 of the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas with about 100 destinations in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, “which favors a higher traffic of tourists, benefiting business exchanges for both sides of the Atlantic Ocean”, according to the airline company.
